BEFORE
Everything seemed almost perfect in the day of 14th Feb, 2008. Nice weather, lovely smile, and a surprise beautiful bouquet in my hand. My boy friend and I were get set to go on with plans of movie, dinner, night view catching in the Klang valley. I was stuffed with joyful, non-stop self photos taking of me and him inside the car.
AFTER
Eventually, we were not chosen to be the lucky one of the day.
Before getting to the Sunway shopping mall, we stopped by the traffic light and waited for green. Neither any warning sign nor honk, a dreadful shock drifted us to the front, and an immediate thrown back. Before I can do anything, another shock followed by a huge crash sound. My first reaction was holding my head and screamed as much as I can. Our car shaken in all direction. It was like gone through an earthquake experience. I was stunning, sight blacked-out for 2-3 seconds, and back to conscious, but dizzy.
Not knowing what my boy friend acting in the mean while, until we put our eyes to each other, he said someone knocked us from the back!
Phew~~ the door of hell opened few inches, maybe. After my screaming, it closed back! :P
Out of my imagination, the car trunk concaved and almost gets touch with the back seats. Estimated speed limit by the reckless driver, it said to be at least 80km/hr. I really have no idea what the hell he doing before he realized his car run into someone's back. The impact of collision was extremely strong, the car from behind hit directly to our car's back, and pushed our stopped car to knock to the front vehicle.
Poor Honda City, now it turns from a mid-size car to a compact car, downsizing :(
Ok, skip all the trouble process of towing, police report and mind suffering. I came out with some IF s...
WHAT IF...
1. I go back to work after the morning seminar, but I skip half day work to pamper myself for the excuse of Valentine's Day.
2. I go back to my apartment after received the flowers from my boy friend, and place the bouquet into my room, instead of get to the car directly. It may cause few minutes delays.
3. I do not put on my seat belt, as sometime I do forget to buckle up for the entire journey on the road.
Well, to the loves one who read me over here. Please BUCKLE UP once you get up to a car. You never know when accident choose to happen to you. In a highway, in front of traffic light, short distance from you house to a destination, or even right after you get out from a happy gathering event. "A life taken away can never be healed by any recovery actions". Babies and kids should put to the safety car seat ONLY. And, never SKIP FROM WORK (a joke, ok :P)
Learn from my lesson, I love you all.
